Two great projects: Promoting online shops for a large decorated merchandizing company, and creating a new site for paid content.
I always have Illustrator or Photoshop open, or both. I usually have a dozen tabs open in my browser with research and ideas.
It really depends on the project, the deadline, and what’s most important to the client. You have to manage your time and balance your workload. The goal is really perfect AND on time. But if things don’t go as planned, communication is key.
Criticism is part of the job. Careful listening and a clear understanding of the project up front can minimize negative feedback, but criticism is healthy and necessary to get to the end goal. I respond with positive ideas and suggestions.
How do you get to know someone? You spend time together, maybe over lunch or coffee, listening to each other’s daily annoyances and telling funny stories. Here are a dozen questions and answers, in no particular order.
